30 Student-Athletes Earn Heartland Conference Honor Roll Honors
Heartland Conference Academic Awards

WACO, Tex. – A total of 30 Lincoln University student-athletes have earned 2009-10 Heartland Conference Academic Honor Roll honors as announced by the conference office Wednesday.

Of that total, 10 Blue Tigers landed on the President’s Honor Roll with a 3.5 or higher GPA. The other 20 were named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll which requires a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Student-athletes also had to be at least in their sophomore season to qualify.

Softball tallied the most of any team with nine, while baseball was second with seven, followed by women’s basketball (6), cross country (5), men’s golf (2) and tennis (1).
