JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- The Blue Tiger softball team is carrying on the tradition of highway cleanup set up by past softball alumni and former head Coach Betty Kemna. All 13 girls and coaching staff spent two hours out in the rain and cold, on 50 highway next to Dix road where they collected trash to help keep the community clean. This project took a lot of time, but the Blue Tigers realized how important their job was to help keep the community clean. This is only one of several projects to come for the Blue Tiger softball team.
